Free weights are fantastic for toning (and cheap to buy) you can do this in the privacy of your own home. 10-15 reps done 3 times gets your heart pumping too!
This light weight method will not add bulk it will simply tone. Perfect workout morning or evening.
i suggest doing this in front of a mirror in the bathroom or a full length in the bedroom so you can see your body working and manage your correct posture.
